I’ve always loved visiting craft fairs, and watching artisans at work, so when I joined 9to90 I was delighted to have the chance to try different crafts and learn new skills in a relaxed, friendly environment. I’ve made lots of new friends and look forward to going there every week. We’re taught by skilled instructors with endless patience, and there’s always time for a chat over coffee and cakes.
I enjoy visiting art galleries and, in 9to90, I’ve had the opportunity to learn techniques used by famous artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso and Matisse, and to copy some of their paintings.
9to90 has also offered me opportunities to learn new skills in extra classes such as Lino Printing and Animation, and to contribute to an exhibition in The Taliesin in Swansea University which was very rewarding.
I have gained so much from joining this group, I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
